Twos Helper
Frequency: Once a month
Membership Required: No
Description: Twos Helpers assist the teacher in the Twos Class on the 2nd Sunday of every month at the 1st Service (8:45AM).
Responsibilities: Arrive at 8:30AM on the Sunday you are scheduled to serve. Interact with children, greet parents, and help with whatever the teacher needs. You may also wear your GCC T-shirt.
Greeter
Frequency: 1-2 Sundays a month
Membership Required: No
Description: To engage with guests and the church body as the first personal encounter with Gospel Community Church. Greeters welcome people and connect those who are new with an usher.
Responsibilities: Arrive 15 minutes early in appropriate dress, wear a name tag, and welcome guests outside the doors with a friendly presence. Ensure the entrance area is clean, recognize new visitors, assist with directions, restrooms, and childcare information to help guests feel welcomed.
Usher
Frequency: 1-2 Sundays a month
Membership Required: Yes
Description: To assist the staff and pastors in the work of ministry by helping with Sunday morning logistics.
Responsibilities: Arrive 15 minutes early in appropriate dress, wear a name tag, seat those in attendance, take attendance, collect the weekly registers after service, and count the offering.
AV: Screens
Frequency: Once a month for both services
Membership Required: No
Description: Volunteers will operate the ProPresenter slides during worship and the sermon. They will also be responsible for adjusting lyrics, announcment, and sermon slides on Sunday mornings before services as necessary.
Responsibilities: Assist with setup in the morning, attend to cameras during the services, setup the livestream for the first service, and help with shutdown at the end of the second service.
AV: Sound
Frequency: Once a month for both services
Membership Required: No
Description: Volunteers are responsible for setting up production in the morning and operating the sound throughout both services. Volunteers will troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities: Turn on all screens for the music team and speaker, turn on equipment in the production booth and on stage, get all microphones ready, troubleshoot issues that arise, adjust cameras during service as needed, oversee the livestream setup, and lead teardown at the end of the second service.
